Adam, Al, Christin, Geremy and Corbin of Free State Revival.
My sister and her boyfriend brought their friends, Free State Revival, down to Eskridge to play at the Buffalo Inn one weekend in April of 2009 and the place just hasn’t been the same since. Within seconds of hearing them begin their performance I had chills running up my spine and goosebumps on my skin. That means they are really good. I only get chills like that when something is extraordinary. Whether it’s music, movies, television, books, even video games, when something gives me chills like that it’s a big signal to me.
Some other things that have given me those kinds of chills: Radiohead, Ben Folds Five, Coldplay, Led Zeppelin, The Fountainhead, Wonderfalls, Final Fantasy X, American Beauty, V for Vendetta, and every single Harry Potter movie I’ve seen to date. At the beginning of every Harry Potter movie I get such a rush, every time I watch them.

Free State Revival is on that level of entertainment. Not only are they talented musicans, but they really connect with their crowd. I’m not a country music fan, not at all, but the face-melting, bluegrass action of Free State Revival is an experience like no other. Lucious harmonies and boot-stomping beats are what you can expect from this amazing group of artists.
Check out their high-tech hootenanny or visit Free State Revival on MySpace or Facebook. You can even check out special videos at the Buffalo Inn MySpace page.
